BIO

Way back in the early ‘80’s, at the young age of 22, l started my own advertising agency. Over the years I have had the pleasure to work with national and international Fortune 500 companies. As an entrepreneurial company, l am accustomed to working in a highly competitive, results-driven environment in which l strive for the delivery of measurable results.

As a visionary at the Phoenix Agency, l’m tasked with preaching the benefits of a well thought out, all inclusive marketing strategy. As a full-service digital agency, the Phoenix Agency creates successful internet marketing campaigns that combine creative Website Design with Search Engine Optimization services, backed by strategic Pay-Per-Click campaigns, followed up with Social Media Marketing and a combination of proven internet and traditional marketing strategies all designed to boost your brand online.

I sit on the Advisory Committees of several organizations and l am a past Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Canadian Newspaper Advisory Board (CNAB), Canadian Magazine Advisory Board (CMAD) and the Vaughan Chamber of Commerce (VCC).

Currently l serve as a Board Member of BPA Worldwide. BPA Worldwide is in the business of providing assurance. For 80+ years as a not-for-profit assurance service provider, BPA was originally created by advertisers, advertising agencies and the media industry to audit audience claims used in the buying and selling of advertising. Today, in addition to auditing audience claims, through its iCompli service, BPA verifies compliance to defined government, industry, and organizational standards as well as adherence to privacy, data protection and sustainability guidelines and best practices. Performing nearly 2,600 annual audits of media channels in over 30 countries, BPA is a trusted resource for compliance and assurance services.

I speak frequently to diverse groups including marketing, business, youth and the arts. I’m a Professor at Seneca College, teaching the Sports Marketing Program. I support young entrepreneurial students by mentoring the Vaughan Summer Company Program and Biz Teens Camp.

I am married to my wife Sandra of 35 years and have 3 children; Stephanie, Nicole and Emma.
